Paxton-Hall Lawyers held its annual not-for profit breakfast on 1 December at Victoria Park, the 23rd such event and a highlight of NFP calendar in Brisbane.

This year’s speakers were Senior Associate Nicole Shenfield and Emeritus Professor Myles McGregor-Lowndes, both well known to the firm’s clients.

Professor McGregor-Lowndes discussed a range of important recent policy changes by the regulator and addressed key case examples in the sector in 2018.

The cutting edge of technology and digital law were explored by Ms Shenfield, who is currently completing who Masters of Law at Melbourne University. She pointed out both the pitfalls of and opportunities in the digital environment, and stressed the importance of good advice as the best means of navigating through it.
